behind the lens
Hey y'all, I'm
Deborah Tilling
I’m a 31-year-old military spouse and mom of three, currently soaking up life in Great Falls, Montana. After five years in Kansas, we’ve made our way back to Montana for round two, and it truly feels like home. With my husband having about five years left in the military, we’re already planning to put down permanent roots here.
I’m very laid back and go with the flow, always up for an adventure or a chance to have a good time. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors or just enjoying the little moments, I’m happiest when life feels fun, easy, and a little bit spontaneous.

I DIDN'T ALWAYS KNOW
THIS WAS MY PASSION.

I spent ten years working in healthcare, walking alongside people through some of the hardest days of their lives. That season shaped me in more ways than I can explain and taught me a level of compassion I will always carry with me. But deep down, I felt a pull toward something different. I wanted to be part of moments that felt lighter. I wanted to witness laughter, love, and the kind of days people look back on with a full heart instead of a broken one.
My dad saw my love for photography long before I allowed myself to see it. He bought me my very first camera, and if I am being honest, I let it sit in my basement collecting dust for years. I was scared to try. Scared I would not be good enough. Still, he believed in me anyway. If he had not given me that camera, I am not sure I would be here today, running a business that once felt like nothing more than a quiet dream in the back of my mind!
